Calmovi collects the details you give us — your name and email when you request a kit, or your email when you join a waitlist — plus basic information about your visit, such as your approximate location, device and the ad or link that brought you here. We use it to send you what you asked for, understand what brings people to the site and measure our advertising. We don't sell your personal information, and you can ask us to access or delete it at any time.
Who is responsible for your information?
Calmovi LLC ("Calmovi", "we") operates calmovi.com and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at support@calmovi.com.
What information do we collect?
- Information you give us: your name and email address when you request a kit, and your email address when you join a waitlist or ask to hear about a restock or launch.
- Visit and device information: your approximate location based on your IP address (country, region and city — we don't store the IP address itself), time zone, browser language, device type, operating system, browser and user agent.
- How you arrived: the page you landed on, the site that referred you, campaign (UTM) parameters, ad, ad set and campaign identifiers, and click identifiers from ad platforms such as Meta.
- Site activity: a random visitor identifier, how many times you've visited, how many pages you've viewed, and the language and currency you chose.
- Orders and payments: when you buy, our payment provider Whop (whop.com) collects your email address, shipping address, phone number if you give it, and payment details. Card details are handled by Whop and never stored by us; we receive your name, email, shipping address, order total and payment status so we can ship and support your order.
How do we use your information?
- To send you what you asked for: kit updates, waitlist and restock emails. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To understand which pages, campaigns and ads bring visitors to Calmovi.
- To measure and improve our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- To see how the site is used, fix problems and make pages easier to use.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
What is the legal basis for using it?
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for marketing emails, on steps you ask us to take when you request a kit, and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and measuring the site and our advertising. You can withdraw consent or object at any time by emailing us.
What cookies does the site use?
Calmovi sets four first-party cookies:
- calmovi-lang — remembers the language you chose (about 13 months).
- calmovi-currency — remembers the currency you shop in (about 13 months).
- calmovi-attr — records the first and most recent campaign that brought you here (90 days).
- calmovi-visitor — a random visitor ID with your visit and page-view counts (about 13 months).
- The site also loads the Meta Pixel, which sets Meta's own cookies to measure ad performance, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — to help us improve them.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Who do we share your information with?
We use service providers to run the site. They process information on our behalf:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Neon — our database.
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel.
- Microsoft — site usage analytics through Microsoft Clarity.
- Telegram — internal notifications to our team when a form is submitted, which include your name and email.
- We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect Calmovi and our customers.
- We don't sell your personal information. Under some US state laws, sharing data with Meta for advertising counts as "sharing" for targeted advertising — you can opt out by emailing us.
Where is your information stored?
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on the safeguards they provide for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep it?
We keep kit request and waitlist details for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them, and delete them sooner if you ask. Cookie durations are listed above.
What are my rights?
Depending on where you live — including the EU, the UK, California and other US states, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait — you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and opt out of targeted advertising.
To use any of these rights, email support@calmovi.com from the address you gave us. We'll respond within the time the law requires — for example, one month under the GDPR or 45 days under California law — and we won't treat you differently for asking. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Does Calmovi collect information from children?
No. Calmovi isn't directed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
How is my information protected?
The whole site runs over HTTPS, and access to personal information is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Will this policy change?
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we'll say so clearly here.
